Its time to get geared up for the Players Choice game On May 5th to 9th, representatives of the Board of Directors will visit each team before or after their games. We will talk with the players away from coaches and parents for a few minutes, answer any questions they may have, then hand out ballots containing their team rosters to each player. The players will then make their selections with the teams to be formally announced at closing ceremonies. More information on OSE 2008 Players' Choice. REMINDER - CLOSING CEREMONIES WILL BE HELD MAY 30TH AT 6:30 PM.

applications for board members for the new league to be named Round Rock
Baseball League, RRBL. If you have any interest in being involved with
the new league please fill out an
application and send it in or take it to the concession stand.

2009 Incoming McNeil HS Freshmen McNeil Maverick Baseball will definitely have incoming freshmen summer team(s). Depending upon interest, the Mavericks may have multiple incoming freshmen teams. Initial organization meeting will be held in mid-to-late April. Check the McNeil baseball web site (http://www.mcneilbaseball.com/) or join the McNeil Baseball Yahoo Group (see link on web site) for more information as it becomes available. OSE will be having our league mid-season
tournament on April 11-13
OSE Hoodies are still available in the concession stand. We have Adult small and medium available for $10 each.
Because of TAKS testing, no games will be
scheduled on April 7th, 8th, 28th and 29th.
Closing ceremonies are scheduled for May 30th at 6:30 pm. This includes our annual Players Choice game. (Place this date on your calendar) For the latest
updates and information, including rainouts, consider joining our
Yahoo Groups.
ALSO, PLEASE REMEMBER, NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED AT THE PARK. |

Important Notes
Do not wear cleats in the batting cages at any time.
Please do not use the football fields for baseball practice or warm-up before games.
Dogs are not allowed at Old Settlers Park during any sporting events This means even if Muffin is part of the family, she cannot attend any game, practice, or any other organized activity, even if she is on a leash.
This is not OSE policy it is a city ordinance, so RRPD can issue you a ticket. Thank you for your consideration.

Procedures regarding Rain-outs: 1) The City of Round Rock Parks And Rec Department inspects the fields and informs the President or Vice President if games can be played or not. The President or VP contacts the webmaster no later than 3:30pm. The Webmaster posts the info no later than 4:30pm weekdays. 2) The President or VP will contact the Division Comissioners who in turn contact the Managers of each team scheduled to play on that particular day regarding rain-out information by 4:00 p.m. 3) Once the Managers are contacted by their commisioner it will be the Managers responsibility to communicate the rain-out information to their teams, whether it be by email, or by telephone call. 4) The league will post the rain-out information on the message recorder by 4:30 p.m. (244-1513) |
